THE MIAMI GUITAR SUMMIT 2026
Miami, Florida — April 4, 2026
From the Liamna Pestana Guitar Studio at the New World School of Music, we are excited to announce the upcoming Miami Guitar Summit, a one-day event focused on excellence in performance, musical exchange, and the celebration of the guitar.
The Summit will bring together performers, students, and community members for a series of artistic and educational activities, all offered free of charge upon prior registration.
As the Artistic Director, I will give a recital on five- and six-course guitars, exploring sound worlds that connect different eras and highlighting their rich historical development.
The event will also feature special guest artist Alberto Puerto, guitarist and composer, who will present a full program of his original works for solo guitar.
